Introduction
Inverted microscopy is getting more and more popular, not only in its traditional field of use, tissue culture, but also in more extended new fields like e.g.:
Life Science Research, Environmental Research, Molecular & Cell Biology, Cell Culture, Cell Physiology, Biotechnology, Pharmacology, etc., etc..

The reasons for this increase in popularity of Inverted Microscopes , are the availability of new:

1. Options for high level microscopy such as:
    a. High N.A. (1.40) objectives.
    b. High N.A. condensers.

2. Techniques in Inverted Microscopy, like :
    a. High level (Laser) Fluorescence.
    b. High level Image Analysis.
    c. Confocal (Laser) Microscopy.

New fields require :  higher specifications.

THE WILLCO-DISH™ SAVES  :  MONEY, TIME, RISK, MISTAKES AND DISAPPOINTMENT!

Working Distance in the micron-meter range.
Recently invented new techniques require new instruments, new tools and new accessories like e.g.: New, high standard single use products (disposables).
The WillCo-dish™ products are needed with some new micron-meter range techniques, used in Inverted Microscopy. WillCo-dish™ products are needed with certain types of Inverted Microscopes, because thin glass bottoms are needed in: High level Magnification, High level Fluorescence, High Resolution Image Analysis and in Confocal Microscopy.

In micromanipulation (e.g.: In ICSI and in Neuro-science), the "holding-" and the "needle-" micro-pipettes are a clear example of single use products needed, using new techniques in Inverted microscopy. It is the high standard of the new microscopes and of the objective lenses, that makes it possible to perform outstanding, high level microscopy, with a Working Distance as short as in to the micron-meter range.

With a wide range of WillCo-dish™* products, WillCo Wells B.V. manufactures several "Series" of products for the Inverted Microscopy market, with one goal only; to set a "Worldwide" Medical & Laboratory standard , for thin GLASS BOTTOMED DISHES. A "glass bottomed dish", is called: "WillCo-dish™". (NOT: Petri-dish!!).

Why is the WillCo-dish so important?
The introduction of our thin (0.17 mm.) glass bottomed dishes opens up new applications in Inverted Microscopy.
