The WillCo-dish® "Series GWSB-3522" (Black dish!), is one out of a series of four types of black walled WillCo-dish® Glass Bottom dishes, all available in a single unit packaging. Per Blister-Pack one (1) glass bottom dish and 120 dishes, per case.

The size of the black wall/- lid "Series GWSB-3522" dishes is 35 x 10 mm. with a glass aperture of 22 mm. in diameter (Height of the well in the bottom: 1.0 mm.). This is our smaller version glass bottom dish, with the largest diameter in the glass opening, in the bottom. 

Note:  This small WillCo-dish® Glass Bottom dish, the "Series GWSB-3522", is most popular in the fields of Neuroscience and Cell Biology.
(As a "transparent dish/GWSt-3522", it is by far the most popular glass bottom dish, used in all scientific areas, where inverted microscopes are available).

Black "wall-and-lid" WillCo-dish® Glass Bottom dishes enjoy a growing level of interest, specially from Live Cell Scientists.


The transparent and the black containers differ in the amount of (Laser-) light exciting your live cells. Black dishes do not allow light to enter the dish (but from the glass bottom aperture) and they absorb more (laser-) light scattering around, inside the dish.

Black dishes provide better options for (low) intensity control. Live cells are (very) sensitive to the intensity of the (laser-) light administered; the light may terminate your cell 's development/life.
